Releasing the Coastal Charms collection has officially put me in the summer spirit! To celebrate, I decided to dive deep into the Anita Archives—sorting through more than 3,000 collections—to find a special "thank you" for our Discount Card holders.
I stumbled upon Beach Retreat, a true legacy set. It was one of the first ten collections Anita Goodesign ever created! Designed and embroidered back in 2004, I’m pretty sure this was originally released on floppy disk.
We’ve pulled it straight from the vault just for you. Please enjoy this vintage favorite as a free gift, from the Archives to your machine!

About a decade ago, one of Anita's most beloved collections was born: Animal Adventure. This delightful cast of cuddly characters made their debut on quilts, framed pieces, and classic embroideries. As the years went on, the collection evolved. These sweet animals began making appearances on everything from quilt blocks to bookmarks, and we even added a few new friends to the mix. Just last year, they were beautifully reimagined into an Artful Embroidery Collection.
