What's included with Countryside Tile Scenes?
We start with beautifully hand-painted watercolor backgrounds that are created using your inkjet printer.
The designs are then covered with hand digitized running stitches for a truly artistic look.
The designs look great as pillows, framed or combined for a large wall-hanging.
For this collection, we created a brand new technique: Watercolor Embroidery. By layering printed fabric and hand placed digitizing stitches, the finished tile scene has a soft faded background just like a watercolor painting. These hand-placed sketch stitches add color and dimension to the fabric to further enhance the watercolor look. With 5 different countryside scenes to choose from, you can create a beautiful masterpiece for every room!
We have included sashing blocks for all 4 sizes. The choice is yours whether to use sashing blocks, mitered borders, or simply nothing at all. Either way you decide to finish your tile scene, the end result will be beautiful. For the mitered borders, we decided to use a gold silk fabric with metallic gold thread. The detail in the embroidery of the frame is stunning!
